Former Ozamiz board member and now City Councilor Ricardo “Ardot” O. Parojinog is still at large.

The raid happened a week after the controversial former Albuera City chief and now Ozamiz City Police Director Jovie Espenido came back from work after the PNP Director General chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa canceled his 90-day suspension.

The Parojinogs conquered Ozamiz City for many years despite of the rumors that they were one of the biggest suppliers of illegal drugs in Mindanao.

President Duterte included Mayor Parojinog and his daughter Vice Mayor Princess Nova Parojinog in his drug list last year.

Duterte said Mayor Parojinog is the father-in-law of Herbert Colanggo, one of the top drug lords in the country.

Parojinog denied the allegation of President Duterte, but admitted that Colangco was Vice Mayor Nova Parojinog’s boyfriend.

As of writing, there are already 11 causalities confirmed by SOCO.

The death of Mayor Parojinog and other officials shocked the people of Ozamiz City. Some were worried that the death of the most powerful politician in Ozamiz might be a start of a bigger war.

But some netizens praised the authorities, saying that the President did his promise to eliminate illegal drugs in Mindanao when he declare martial law.
